Steve Tasson PT, DPT

Dr. Steve Tasson is a graduate of the UTMB Bridge Program and has been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy since 2021. He began his career in Oregon, where he worked with a wide range of patients, including collegiate, high school, and professional endurance athletes. Steve has a strong clinical interest in treating lower extremity conditions and upper extremity injuries, and he integrates evidence-based practices with individualized rehabilitation strategies to support optimal recovery and performance.

Outside the clinic, Steve has a deep passion for both motocross and rock climbing. With a background in training and racing against some of the fastest motocross riders in the world, he brings a unique perspective to treating motorsports-related injuries. As an avid climber who frequently embarks on climbing trips, Steve understands the physical and mental demands of outdoor adventure sports. These experiences allow him to connect with athletes on a deeper level and support them through injury recovery, performance progression, and preparation for future goals.

Steve was raised in Houston, TX, and is now part of the Physiologic Physical Therapy team in the DFW area. He enjoys staying involved with the local motocross community and you can often find him supporting events and races throughout North Texas.
