Phillip Edwards PT, DPT

Dr. Phil is the Co-owner of PhysioLogic Physical Therapy. He specializes in outpatient orthopedic injuries and post-op physical therapy for recreational athletes, particularly golfers, weight lifters, and runners.

Phil is Dry-Needling Certified through the American Academy of Spinal Manipulation; Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 2 certified; Blood Flow Restriction Certified; Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Academy of Physical Therapy, and Certified Running Analyst through RunDNA.

Phil has been treating patients in the west Fort Worth region for 7 years, working in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings. His physical therapy approach blends dry needling and manual therapy techniques with strength and conditioning principles to reduce pain and promote steady return to activity. Phil believes that everyone’s experience with pain is a unique situation that requires an individualized plan of care revolving around the patient’s personal goals for health and wellness. 

Phil earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of North Texas – Health Science Center in 2017. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Mathematics at Texas State University in San Marcos, graduating with honors. During his academic career, Dr. Phil also worked as a physical therapy aide at various outpatient physical therapy clinics from 2010 to 2014.

Phil was born and raised in North Richland Hills and resides in north Fort Worth, TX with his wife Stephanie, who co-founded PysioLogic, and their 3 dogs: Dexter, Kyle, and Diego. Dr. Phil spends most of his free time experiencing foodie spots in DFW, wood working in his garage, or traveling the world with his wife. He is an avid golfer, and you can usually find him at a golf course on a Sunday morning.

 

John Lee Peña PT, DPT, AIB-VRC, CCP

Dr. Lee is the Co-owner of PhysioLogic Physical Therapy. He specializes in acute orthopedic surgery/injury; head, neck, and face pain, and vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT).

Lee is a certified cranio-facial practitioner and also holds a certification in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. His approach focuses on creating an individualized experience through personal physical therapy catered to the patient, their tolerance, their personal physiological goals. 

Lee has been practicing physical therapy for 7 years. Most of this time was spent in an acute surgical hospital where he was able to hone the approach of working with people in acute pain and various stages of de-conditioning.

He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Texas - Health Science Center and a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas. He graduated magna cum laude during his undergraduate studies and summa cum laude during his doctorate program in 2017. 

Born in Harlington, TX, Lee spent his formative years living in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, from Denton to Haslet to Fort Worth before opening Physiologic Physical Therapy in Aledo, TX with Dr. Phil. He settled down in Aledo with his wife Natalie, who co-founded PysioLogic, his daughter Gracelynn, and their dog, Pickle. In his free time, Lee loves to stay active in the gym, spend time with his family and even likes to dabble in guitar and acting.

 

Zane Holley, PT, DPT, MS,

C-PS

Dr. Zane specializes in sports performance exercise programing, post-op physical therapy, and rehabbing athletes with pathologies involving the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. He is a champion performance specialist; dry needling certified; certified blood flow restriction training; therapeutic neuroscience education.

Zane participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as a Marine Infantry Scout Section Leader; because of this he has a strong passion for treating fellow veterans and also active duty military members. According to Zane, prioritizing the rehabilitation goals of the patient should be the key focus of physical therapy treatment.

Zane holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine Health Science Center in Austin, TX. Zane's academic career in physical therapy began after being wounded in Afghanistan when he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics at the University of Texas at Arlington. He continues to pursue continuing education in physical therapy to meet his patients’ needs. 

Zane lives in Weatherford, TX with his wife and son. He enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, working out with his wife, and hunting. He also enjoys fishing competitively in local bass tournaments.
